Delightful bakery and sit in dessert spot with an amazing variety of American desserts. I spied over 10 different flavors of cupcakes, cheesecakes, tarts, cookies, pies, and sliced cakes. My friend and I were quickly seated at a table and ordered a slice of blueberry cheesecake and 2 rainbow cookies to share. The dessert tasted really fresh! I was surprised that they were able to maintain such a big selection without serving up leftovers from previous days. I'm not a big cheesecake person, but I actually liked the blueberry cheesecake more than the rainbow cookies! Both were not too sweet. The rainbow cookies were soft and comforting, and the cheesecake was rich and creamy. We had a great time chatting and didn't feel pressured to leave or order more desserts. They also have a coffees, teas, and other soft drinks along with water for the table. Definitely would recommend Mia's for its sheer variety and the presentation of the desserts is spot on as well :)

Food: Everything is excellent here! Their desserts and pastries are delicious especially the chocolate cheesecake, Nutella cookies, and fruit napoleon. Their hot chocolate is amazing as well and not too sweet. They have a wide variety of desserts including cakes and pies (whole and by the slice), gelato, cupcakes, pastries, cheesecake, and more. They have a full coffee bar and smoothies. Service: Service is great. Staff members are attentive and friendly. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted at the counter if you're doing takeout or by the host for a table. Ambiance: Mia's is a cozy cafe with many tables and even an outdoor covered patio. It's a great quiet place to meet friends or even sit and do work. I highly recommend this place!

Found this on yelp. Asked the woman in line in front of me what I should get. She said you can't go wrong with whatever you pick. She was right. That lemon blueberry Bundt cake was the right amount of moist and sweet to make it worthwhile. They offer a 5 slice special for $35 and that includes cheesecakes. The display is well set up, and there is some seating for indoor dining. Would definitely recommend.

It's so crazy that this place is open so late! We stopped by around 10pm and it was still fully stocked and the seating area was packed. I thought it was just going to be a bakery where you pick up your cake and leave, but it was a whole restaurant in the back. We got the orange cake, tiramisu, and a few italian cookies. The orange cake was delicious! It had a strong orange taste and was super moist. The tiramisu was also tasty and had the perfect amount of coffee.

A good bakery option in the downtown Brooklyn area with similar vibes as Venieros but smaller. It sells all kinds of desserts ranging from cheesecakes to regular cakes and assortment of cookies. The cupcakes were good but I can't say they beat my favorite which is Mollys in the west village. The cheesecake had an interesting floral aftertaste. The 7 layer cake was good too but not the best. Would I come out of my way to come here? Probably not. But it's a good option to have in the neighborhood if I have a sweet tooth.

I came here to grab their Chocolate mousse cake for a birthday party and it was a big hit! Fair warning: it's rich and a bit on the sweet side but that's how most non-Asian bakery cakes are. Nonetheless, it was perfectly moist and chocolatey. I put some leftover slices in the freezer and they ended up tasting even better! Gave them more of a cheesecake-like texture. Prices are very fair given the size of the cake. Service was very friendly and helpful. I will be back to try some of their other flavors of cupcakes and cake slices! PS. If you're wondering what the difference is between the Chocolate layer cake and the Chocolate mousse cake, it's mainly the cake:mousse ratio so probably just some minor textual differences.

For wholesome all-American gluten fare, Mia's is tied with Martha's Country Bakery in making me feel like a little girl on the prairie. The deliciously moist Coconut Cake feels like something my white grandma from another universe might've made for my wedding. And the Apple Crumble Cheesecake would fit right in at any Sunday church picnic. Mmmm, tastes like 'Murica.

From the outside it will appear to be closed because it's so dark until you walk inside. As soon you walk in you will be greeted by the host and offered a place to sit or directed to the line for a to go order. This place has so much to offer and so much space to sit or stand, I was impressed by the set up and not overwhelmed like I am in other bakeries. I ordered the blackout cake which was rich in chocolate, the thing the lacked it was cold so it was a little stiff, I brought that bad boy home warmed it up and wallah soft gooey goodness.
